  • Data protection Manager

    Locatie: Pipera-Voluntari

     

    The Cyber Security Data Protection service is responsible for multiple programs across Ford to enable a securely connected digital business as well as preventing the unauthorized disclosure of the company’s most sensitive data. The service team is responsible for both the Insider Threat program and Data Loss Prevention program to increase our security posture against data loss. 

     

    This position requires the candidate to work cross-functionally across varied global IT teams, vendors, legal/contracts teams, and senior leadership plus interface with partners in a variety of business units. 

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Manage people, process and technology improvements related to improving our capability to protect the company data/information. 
    • Execute Data Loss Prevention alert, escalation and remediation process
    • Manage a team of at least 4 direct reports 
    • Interface with global partners 
    • Establish strong working relationship with stakeholders 
    • Manage day-to-day aspects of the Data Protection initiatives 
    • Communicate project status, issues and risks (as appropriate). 
    • Develop metrics
    • Performing other tasks set by the Manager

     

    Supervisory skills required:

    • Excellent people skills including the ability to teach, mentor, and coach 
    • Excellent collaboration, motivation and conflict resolution skills 
    • Track record of soft skills: Listening, availability, appropriate transparency, ability to delegate, ability to both take responsibility and give credit, have a servant leadership mentality 
    • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple concurrent high priority tasks

     

    Mandatory requirements: 

    • 6 to 10 years of progressive leadership responsibilities
    • Delivery and Operational experience 
    • Knowledge of project management disciplines, Information Security Policy 
    • Ability to deliver on commitments through leadership, teamwork, strategic planning, problem analysis and resolution. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management 
    • Ability to present ideas and recommendations to senior leaders

     

    Preferred : 

    • Progressive leadership responsibilities within IT 
    • Experience with Agile Methodologies
    • Experience with a Data Loss Prevention tool
    • Experience delivering project with extensive infrastructure components 
    • Experience in Cyber Security 
    • Working knowledge of ISO27001 CISSP certification

  • Data loss prevention analyst

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Remediate DLP alerts and perform analysis for triage/escalation 
    • Analyze and aggregate data loss prevention data to support the enhancement/tuning of existing policies and determine additional controls 
    • Analyze global data loss prevention data to provide metric reporting 
    • Establish and manage relationships with key business customers 
    • Translate customer requirements into deliverables and negotiate feasibility with available tooling/resources 
    • Define, implement and support process and technology improvements related to preventing unauthorized disclosure, modification, removal or destruction of information (e.g. USB block program) 

     

    Mandatory requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher 
    • 1+ Years, Experience in a cybersecurity role 

     

    Preferred : 

    • 1+ Years, Experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tool 
    • 1+ Years of Experience reviewing and remediating DLP alerts 
    • Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
    • Process driven mind-set; can-do, find-a-way attitude
    • Ability to work independently, manage work to ensure quality, on-time delivery 
    • Strong Leadership skills with the ability to train and advise team members
    • Strong written/oral communication skills (including management collaboration) 
    • Highly motivated and self-directed 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Experience with RSA-Archer Case Management tool 
    • Experience with Insider Threat monitoring 
    • Technical proficiency in multiple information technologies and/or Cyber security tools 
    • Experience/Knowledge with computer aided design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, CATIA, or Visio) 
    • Experience/Knowledge with policy/rule tools (e.g. SAS) 
    • Strong understanding of security practices and risk management principles 
    • Experience/Knowledge with one or more technology areas (e.g. operating systems, network, database, programming/coding, etc.) 
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, O365, etc.) 
    • Understanding of the role information security and compliance play within a global organization
    • Experience with data analysis and collaborative tools
    • Knowledge of one or more security domains (Risk Management, Asset Security, Architecture & Engineering, Communication & Network, Identity & Access Management, Assessment & Testing, Operations, Software Development) 
    • Experience/Knowledge with one or more of the following: IT Asset Management, Active Directory, HTML 
    • Ability to read additional language(s) (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Thai, Portuguese)
    • General knowledge of Ford IT environment and organizational structure
